Family G
Rosenberg
Rosenberg Trio
Sinti — Netherlands
Style: Gypsy jazz / Jazz manouche
The Dutch Sinti guitar family of the late twentieth century. Stochelo, Nous’che and Nonnie — a family band that became the standard for hot-club playing. Neighbours of Schäfer and Basily. A different line from the restaurant Mirando Weiss family.
Sinti families in the Low Countries kept Django’s language after the war. The Rosenberg Trio (formed 1989) — Stochelo lead, Nous’che rhythm, Nonnie bass — made that language the one younger players learned from.
This is pompe guitar, not csárdás violin. Same country as Tata Mirando. Different right hand.
