Ternipe

TerniPe — Youth

Hungarian Roma — Szabolcs-Szatmár-Bereg / Budapest, from 1989

Style: Vlax song & Central European families

Ternipe. Romani: youth. Named Vlach public group of inward song, from 1989. Rombase: close to Kalyi Jag’s folk approach. Inward song, beside the café families.

Rombase (Kovalcsik): among the known Vlach Roma ensembles, Ternipe stayed traditional in approach.

Public notices: formed 1989 by young musicians from Szabolcs-Szatmár-Bereg county and Budapest. The name means youth. ARC issued an album titled Hungarian Gypsy Music (2006) — the label’s word, not this archive’s genre collapse.

Named so the Vlax page holds more than Kalyi Jag and Bílá.
